In Search Of Myself
This is right on the cusp of Glasses fully acknowledging Smurfette as his sister.
"You can't flirt with Smurfette!" Glasses growled.
"Why not?" Hefty asked.
"It's– I–" Glasses spluttered, trying to figure that out himself. "It's guy code, isn't it?"
"What?"
"You aren't supposed to flirt with your friends' sisters, I'm sure I smurfed one of your idiot buddies smurf that."
"Why would— Wait, dude, did you just..?" Hefty was smiling for some reason, but why?
Oh, wait... "Smurfette is not my sister!"
"Then why can't I flirt with her?"
Because she's my little sister.
"You just can't!" Glasses huffed. "There are plenty of other Smurfs that would date you the moment you smurfed. Like Clumsy, for instance."
And why did that sentence make him want to scream?
"I'm not into guys," Hefty tried to protest, but Glasses waved him to silence.
"On second thought, Clumsy and you wouldn't smurf well together, you're too different." As if summoned, Clumsy tripped towards their table. Glasses glared at him. "Clumsy, don't flirt with Hefty, he's not your type and is into girls — you'd smurf your heart broken."
"Okey-dokey, Glasses," Clumsy agreed easily as he clambered into a chair, looking mildly confused but mostly just pleasant as always.
That was what he lov– liked about Clumsy. He always took Glasses' advice, no matter how ridiculous. Which was as well extremely worrying, so Glasses made a mental note to give Clumsy a lecture on the importance of being discerning and making your own decisions. Again. Maybe it'd stick this time.
A very selfish part of him hoped it wouldn't.

That was so heartwarming! The safe harbour that vanity provides for grouchy is so smurfing lovely. Also I in madly in love with this way you gave vanity to interact by making another Smurf he can look into the eyes. This needs to be canon.
