This is set before he became Megamind, so he's pretty much not referred to as such.
I dreamed that his real name is M'ren and I love that, so the narrative (such as it is) calls him that.
I love the fanon about him being called Blue, though, so that's what the prisoners/Warden/Wayne/etc know him as.
Sorry if this is confusing.
