Notes

So I completely forgot to post this until now (7 months later). Whoops...

Headcanon: Vanity dislikes eye contact, which is part of why he's always staring at his mirror, though mostly it's because he just likes looking at himself. Most Smurfs think he barely notices anything around him, but actually he notices just about everything — he just doesn't care about it except for gossip, most of the time.

Grouchy: Jokey's outside.

Vanity, excited: Did he smurf the stuff I asked for?

Grouchy: He said he got you the clown costume, the power drill, and 12 tarantulas.

Vanity: Wow! Wherever did he find 12 fake tarantulas?

Jokey, walking in: Ya wanted fake tarantulas..?

Vanity and Grouchy: ...

Vanity, forcibly calm: Jokey, what did you do?

Jokey: Uh... [looks nervous]

Vanity, significantly more panicked: Jokester Smurf, what did you do?!

[Smurfs can be heard screaming outside]

Jokey: ...I may have made a mistake.

Grouchy, looking out the window: [laughs] Best mistake ever!
